Clinical Research Associate

Temporary/Part-time (50% FTE)

We're looking for you:

Study being conducted by Pacific Health Research Institute seeking an experienced research recruiter to recruit participants with anticipation of performing duties through *September 30, 2010. *The period of employment may end sooner depending on funding and completion of assignment.

In-clinical time with the study coordinator will include initial training, conducting participant interviews and exams (height, weight, and waist measurements), and on-going debriefing with submission of completed data collection forms.

Additional duties include: interviewing adults and children to collect study data. Must be able to relate to and work with children in a safe, caring manner, have good people skills, polished phone etiquette and ability to work independently.

General clerical duties include data entry, photocopying, coordinating mailings, etc.

Hours: 20 hours per week - evening hours 4 to 9pm (flexible) Saturdays required at the clinic (Liliha area) from 7am - 4 pm.

The Pacific Health Research Institute is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) research institute founded in 1960 to conduct collaborative, multi-institutional health research.  Located in central Honolulu, PHRI is in close proximity to Hawaii’s major medical centers, the University of Hawaii, and the University’s John A.
